(Yunnan Adventure With Nigel Marven/2011) Beautifully shot, this documentary provides a window into a fascinating world as Marven catches and examines near-extinct creatures.
Nigel travels amongst the peaks of Yunnan, China's southernmost province, to meet a host of peculiar creatures. The black snub-nose monkey lives at higher altitudes than any other primate except humans, while the Hoolock gibbon is one of the most endangered primates on Earth. There'll be amazing turtles and beautiful snakes, red pandas in the bamboo, giant salamanders as long as Nigel is tall, and rare green peacocks, the inspiration for China's famous Peacock Dance.
