Today, every modern metropolis must respond to a fundamental question: how can nature play a central role in their development, which is both ecological and sustainable, and which allows humans to live in harmony, like in an ecosystem? New York, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Paris are pioneers. Each city is a giant laboratory, experimenting and developing urban ecology, according to its own natural history. Through their investigations, scientists, artists, architects and naturalists will find themselves at the forefront of these major technological and architectural challenges. Their aim is to create a synergy between city and nature, and work on the process of developing the ingredients for tomorrow?s world.

(Croc Man/2010) Shaun Foggett is an ordinary man with extraordinary dreams. Shaun, his wife Lisa and their young family live in a small house in the suburbs of Oxford. Packed into sheds that fill all but a tiny square of their garden, he also has a collection of 23 crocodiles ? the largest in Britain. And that?s just the start?
In 2007, Shaun survived a near-fatal blood disease and as he recovered, vowed to pursue his ultimate reptilian dream ? to open the first ever Crocodile Zoo in Britain with each of the 23 species of crocodile in the world.
We follow his journey over a period of four months as he gives up his job as a joiner to kick-start his hopes. He needs premises with a zoo licence and ritzy enclosures ? that pull in the public and keep in the crocs. He?s planning on selling his house and moving the whole family in with his brother, to raise funds ? but Shaun needs sponsorship too. We follow the UK?s very own Crocodile Dundee, as he pursues his passion to bring crocs to British shores.

(Hope For Wildlife/2010) Second in the series following the amazing work of wildlife animal rescue society Hope Swinimer?s ?Hope For Wildlife?, rescuing thousands of animals on Canada?s east coast each year. This time round Hope and her tireless team are taking their mission of mercy from the wilderness to the city, learning to deal with stray pets, find homes for abandoned animals and navigate the political jungle of animal control. At the same time, they must continue the enormous task of rehabilitating more than a thousand wild animals each year.

In this season Hope goes on the road to further develop her knowledge of wildlife rehabilitation. She visits a variety of wildlife rehab facilities across Canada to learn about different species and new rehab procedures. Of course Doctor Barry, Allison, Tiffany and a host of volunteers are also on hand to look after all the injured and orphaned animals that desperately need help.
