He was rescued by the team at Shamwari Rehabilitation Centre and two years were dedicated to getting this special orphan back to the wild. It was to be an amazing journey. Themba befriended a very patient sheep named Albert, and together they formed a bond as strong as any human friendship. Albert gave a baby elephant the spirit to live, while Themba gave a seemingly ordinary sheep a feeling of purpose.
